Welcome To Café On The DamCafé On The Dam is located in the beautiful Jarrahdale community, high up on the scarp overlooking the Serpentine Dam.
Café On The Dam
The café has indoor & outdoor seating.
The large verandah overlooks the glistening waters of the Serpentine Dam. Inside, you can still look out onto nature through the floor to ceiling windows. The fire in winter is a welcoming sight and you need to get in early so you can find yourself sitting in the arm chairs watching the fire’s dancing glow. The gallery walls are filled with art, from both local and afar artists. The artwork is all available for sale. Gifts can be purchased from the gallery gift shop which too has local handcrafted items for sale.
The café is home to the famous 28 Parrots, who come in daily to say hello and be hand fed. Bird seed is available from the café. Along with the parrots, there are cheeky Kookaburras who will keep you very entertained. Black and white tailed Cockatoos, Red tailed Cockatoos, Blue Wrens, Honeyeaters, Currawongs, Kangaroos and Echidnas are just a few of the varied wildlife you may see as you take a stroll around the café and the Dam.
We encourage you to take photos and don’t forget to post on our social media pages.
